Our company name translated from Latin is “Three Modes”, referring to the three modes of transportation we offer - Air, Ocean and Truck – and the advantage of a seamless system integrating those modes into logistics services that add value for the customer.

HOW TRI-AD BEGAN

Linda M. Collier, a former transportation executive with a major European freight forwarder, established Tri-ad in 1988.  Tri-ad began targeting the demanding, high-value computer industry. We’ve been named Ontario’s Fastest Growing Company, and Linda Collier received the 1993 Canadian Woman Entrepreneur of the Year Award.   Amongst other recognition awards over the years, Linda has most recently won the prestigious award of Top 40 Under 40 in Canada, which represents the achievement of excellence in business and extraordinary leadership.
